Evan comes to me one day with a serious look on her face. “Momma, my dad started smoking.” “What?!”, I say, probably looking pretty shocked. With absolutely no reaction to me, she hardly shifts expressions and says, “And we all thought he was a brave and healthy man…”.
Additional information: Her dad is not my husband so my shock was not that I also just found out my husband started smoking. Her dad is just really healthy so it was shocking. Also, my husband is a smoker- cough cough, go brush your teeth smokey, not in the garage- geez!
